GaragePal Terms of Use

1. Service Description
GaragePal is an AI vehicle-care copilot for everyday drivers: you can log your vehicle’s service, fuel and costs, photograph a dashboard warning light or describe a symptom for AI triage guidance, and receive mileage- and time-based maintenance reminders.
2. AI Triage Is Informational Guidance, Not a Diagnosis
GaragePal’s AI triage results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a professional diagnosis or replace inspection by a qualified mechanic. For safety-critical systems — brakes, steering, airbags — always consult a qualified mechanic and do not perform potentially unsafe DIY work based solely on in-app guidance. You are solely responsible for any action you take based on AI guidance. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI triage results.
3. User Conduct
You agree to enter vehicle data truthfully and not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate your account if we find abuse.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
The current release (v1.0) is free-first, with core capabilities available for free. Pro subscriptions will list on the App Store / Google Play with v1.1; at that time they auto-renew, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, and prices are shown by the stores. You may cancel anytime via the store’s subscription management; you keep access until the end of the current period. Refunds follow Apple’s and Google’s respective policies.
5. Intellectual Property
The vehicle data and records you enter belong to you. GaragePal’s app interface, brand marks, icons, and underlying technology belong to the GaragePal team.
6. Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Contact us immediately if you discover unauthorized use.
7. Changes & Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users in advance.
8. Disclaimer
GaragePal is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we are not liable for vehicle damage or personal injury arising from reliance on AI triage guidance.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
